Andrew Feldman

Andrew Feldman

CEO, Co-Founder

Andrew is co-founder and CEO of Cerebras Systems. He is an entrepreneur dedicated to pushing boundaries in the compute space. Prior to Cerebras, he co-founded and was CEO of SeaMicro, a pioneer of energy-efficient, high-bandwidth microservers. SeaMicro was acquired by AMD in 2012 for $357M. Before SeaMicro, Andrew was the Vice President of Product Management, Marketing and BD at Force10 Networks which was later sold to Dell Computing for $800M. Prior to Force10 Networks, Andrew was the Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development at RiverStone Networks from the company’s inception through IPO in 2001. Andrew holds a BA and an MBA from Stanford University.

Gary Lauterbach

Gary Lauterbach

CTO, Co-Founder

Gary is co-founder and CTO of Cerebras Systems. He is widely recognized as one of the industry’s leading computer architects. Prior to Cerebras, Gary was co-founder and CTO of SeaMicro, where his inventions helped pioneer the microserver category. While at SeaMicro, Gary was the Principal Investigator for a $9.3 Million US Department of Energy grant for energy-efficient computing. Following Seamicro’s acquisition by AMD, Gary was a Corporate Fellow and CTO for the server and server-CPU business units. Earlier in his career, Gary was a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems, where he was Chief Microprocessor Architect for the UltraSPARC III and UltraSPARC IV microprocessors. At Sun Laboratories, he was Chief Architect of the DARPA HPCS Petascale computing project. Gary holds more than 50 patents.


Tony Maslowski

VP and Chief Financial Officer

Prior to Cerebras, Tony was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Broadcom. Tony joined Avago 2006 as Vice President of Internal Audit. During his decade long tenure, which included Avago acquiring LSI and Broadcom, Tony rose to the position of CFO, a position he held from 2013 to 2016. Before Avago he was  CFO for Allegro Manufacturing and has senior finance management positions at Lam Research and Hitachi Data Systems. Tony has a B.A. from University of Michigan.

Dhiraj Mallick

Dhiraj Mallick

VP Engineering and Business Development

Dhiraj is VP of Engineering and Business Development at Cerebras Systems. Dhiraj has over 20 years of executive leadership experience directing large, high-performing engineering teams at Intel, AMD and startups like SeaMicro and NexGen. Prior to Cerebras, Dhiraj was CTO and VP Architecture for Intel’s $20B Data Center business. Before Intel, he was an integral part of the executive leadership team as VP Engineering at SeaMicro prior to its acquisition by AMD, after which he continued at AMD as Corporate VP and GM of the Server Solutions division. Dhiraj serves as an advisor to several VC-backed companies and holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.


Vinay Srinivas, PhD

VP Software Engineering

Vinay is VP of Software Engineering at Cerebras Systems. He brings more than 24 years of executive leadership experience to the team. Prior to joining Cerebras, he spent 12 years at Synopsys in roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he was VP of Engineering for the emulation product. Previously, Vinay served as VP of R&D at Archpro Design Automation (acquired by Synopsys), and VP of R&D at Sequence Design (acquired by Asnys/Apache). Vinay holds a BTech from IIT Bombay, and an MS and PhD from University of Florida.


Will Hall

VP of Sales

Will is Vice President of Sales at Cerebras Systems. Will’s career spans 20 years in Sales and Executive roles at both large companies and early stage startups. Prior to Cerebras, he was the CEO of DataFrameworks which was acquired by Dell EMC in 2018. Before DataFrameworks, Will held Enterprise, OEM, and Channel Sales Vice President roles at Fusion-io and Scality. Will began his career at NetApp where he spent 10 years managing Sales teams at the Commercial, Enterprise, and Global level. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business.


Sean Lie

Chief Hardware Architect, Co-Founder

Sean is Chief Hardware Architect and co-founder of Cerebras Systems. Prior to Cerebras, Sean was Lead Hardware Architect of the IO virtualization fabric ASIC at SeaMicro. After SeaMicro was acquired by AMD, Sean was made an AMD Fellow and Chief Data Center Architect. Earlier in his career, he spent five years at AMD in their advanced architecture team. He holds a BS and MEng in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT and has authored 16 patents in computer architecture.


Michael James

Chief Architect, Advanced Technologies, Co-Founder

Michael is Chief Architect of Advanced Technologies and co-founder of Cerebras Systems. Prior to Cerebras, Michael was Lead Software Architect responsible for distributed system software at SeaMicro. After SeaMicro was acquired, Michael was made an AMD Fellow and Lead Software Architect. Throughout his career, he has designed operating systems, compilers, real-time feedback controls systems, signal process, and recognition systems. Michael has degrees in Molecular Neurobiology, Mathematics, and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.


Jean-Philippe Fricker

Chief System Architect, Co-Founder

Jean-Philippe (J.P.) is Chief System Architect at Cerebras Systems. Before co-founding Cerebras, J.P. was Senior Hardware Architect at rack-scale flash array startup DSSD (acquired by EMC). Prior to DSSD, J.P. was Lead System Architect at SeaMicro where he designed three generations of fabric-based computer systems. Earlier in his career, J.P. was Director of Hardware Engineering at Alcatel-Lucent and Director of Hardware Engineering at Riverstone Networks. He holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, and has authored 24 patents.


John Turk

VP Operations and Customer Support

John is VP Operations and Customer Support at Cerebras Systems and has extensive experience managing the challenging day-to-day operations of successful, growing startups. He was the VP of Operations and Service at rack-scale flash array startup DSSD. Earlier, he was VP Operations and Service at SeaMicro. After SeaMicro’s acquisition by AMD, John continued in his role as SVP Operations and Services at AMD before joining DSSD. Prior to Seamicro, John was Senior VP Operations at Omneon and Director of Manufacturing at Cisco Systems. He has an MBA from Stanford University.


Andy Hock, PhD

Vice President, Product Management

Andy Hock is Senior Director of Product Management at Cerebras Systems. Andy was the Senior Director of Advanced Technologies at Skybox Imaging, makers of high-resolution satellites, when the company was purchased by Google in 2014 for $500M. After the acquisition, he continued on as Product Manager at Google before joining the team at Cerebras. Prior to Skybox, Andy was the Senior Program Manager, business development lead and a Senior Scientist for Arete Associates. He holds a PhD in Geophysics and Space Physics from UCLA.
